Get Involved: Liverpool FA’s She Inspires Empowerment Festival

Liverpool FA is inviting women across the region to celebrate the power of football, wellbeing, and community at the upcoming She Inspires Empowerment Festival.

Whether you’re a seasoned player, a dedicated volunteer, or completely new to the pitch, this inclusive event welcomes everyone aged 16 and over to connect and celebrate women’s football together.

What to Expect

Taking place at LCFA Sefton on Sunday 9th August, the festival is packed with activities that go far beyond the pitch. 

Attendees can look forward to:

• Inclusive Football: Register as a 5-a-side team, a Walking Football team, or sign up as an individual and we’ll find a team for you. If you don’t want to play but just want to be part of the day, you are completely welcome!
• Interactive Workshops: Learn something new with sessions covering female health and wellbeing, injury prevention, mental health, mindfulness, and nutrition.
• Pathways & Development: Discover new opportunities with workshops focused on volunteering, coaching, and refereeing pathways.
• Entertainment: Enjoy a live DJ, inflatable football darts, an ice cream van, and even wellbeing dogs offering a chance to relax and unwind.

Why Get Involved?

The festival brings together players, coaches, volunteers, and referees for a fun, inspiring day. It exists to provide a space to meet new people, build community connections, and champion both physical activity and mental wellbeing.

• Date: Sunday 9th August 2026
• Time: Registration from 9:30am | Event runs 10:00am – 4:00pm
• Venue: LCFA Sefton
