Liverpool County FA (LCFA) is looking for an inspiring, dynamic, and motivated individual to join our team as a Volunteer Coordinator (Women & Girls). This is a crucial role dedicated to increasing the number of female volunteers in off-pitch roles across grassroots football, ensuring the game is accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will focus on creating a better football experience for all by building capacity within our clubs and leagues. You will work across seven local authorities – Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens, Halton, Warrington, and West Lancashire – to support the delivery of our 2024-28 Strategy and The FA National Game Strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
Raising Awareness: Creating campaigns to engage and grow female volunteering sustainably.
Building Connections: Engaging with education, faith, and community groups to recruit new volunteers.
Learning & Development: Coordinating and delivering FA training opportunities, such as “Females into Volunteering” events and “Club Leadership” modules.
Club Support: Helping accredited clubs and leagues establish volunteer plans to recruit, retain, and reward their volunteers.
