Become MSP’s National Governing Body & Multi-Sport Place Lead

Are you someone who can convene people and organisations, build trust, and create the conditions for collaboration and learning?

Merseyside Sports Partnership is looking for a National Governing Body & Multi-Sport Place Lead to act as a vital link between national sporting bodies and local place-based initiatives.

You will act as a vital bridge, connecting NGBs with Place partnerships across the six Sport England Place locations in across the Liverpool City Region (LCR). You’ll be tasked with facilitating forums, hosting “NGB Connect” sessions, and listening closely to communities to identify and dismantle the root causes of inactivity and inequality.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a “systems approach” mindset. You should be confident in facilitating workshops, daring enough to challenge the status quo when necessary, and skilled at turning complex insights into impactful stories that celebrate our region.

  • The Role: To support the creation of a better life for the people of the Liverpool City region through movement, physical activity and sport.
  • Salary: £35,412 to £39,862. 
  • Format: 35 hours per week, hybrid working.
