We’re recruiting for a new and exciting role – Welfare Officer.

Vacancy 

Help make sport and activity in Liverpool City Region a safe and welcoming space for everyone by becoming a Welfare Officer!

As Welfare Officer you will form part of a national network funded by the National Lottery, through Sport England, to add capacity and expertise to the existing safeguarding work of MSP and national governing bodies of sport across the City Region.

You will help further understand safeguarding in local community sport clubs, and explore how policies and procedures are cascaded and practised, whilst helping to share learning and raise safeguarding standards. You will work closely with the network of Sport Welfare Officers nationally as well as other local and national organisations to connect people working on welfare and safeguarding, both inside and outside sport.

We’re looking for someone who:
 * Has great people skills to develop strong relationships.
 * Can communicate effectively.
 * Is organised and able to prioritise workloads, problem solve and work under own initiative
 * Has welfare and safeguarding experience.
