All Together Active: Launching Cheshire and Merseyside’s Physical Activity Strategy for health and social care

The Champs Public Health Collaborative and Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership have set the ambitious aim to support 150,000 of the subregion’s most inactive residents to become more physically active by 2026 by working together with partners and places as part of a whole-system approach.

Cheshire and Merseyside’s Population Health Board has commissioned the two Active Partnerships in the subregion, Active Cheshire and MSP, supported by Sport England, to develop a new strategy to increase levels of physical activity.  The new strategy, All Together Active, will be launched at this event where you’ll hear from a range of influential people from health and politics about why the strategy is important and what role partners can play in bringing the strategy to fruition.

This event is open to anyone working across the public, private and third sector in Cheshire and Merseyside who has a specific interest in health inequalities and the health and wellbeing of the subregion’s residents.  Please feel free to share this email with any colleagues, stakeholders and partners that you work with and encourage them to join the conversation too.
